Lisa Rose, ASCA-C
Lisa Rose has been involved in the snow and ice management business for almost 30 years. She hails from Erie, PA, where snow is a way of life. Starting out working part time in a snow management business overseeing plow and salt trucks in the field, Ms. Rose went to college and became a court reporter. She has worked as an administrative assistant for a federal judge and large law firms for six years. She returned to the snow management business in 1999, eventually being promoted to Vice President of Operations for the largest snow management company in North America. Ms. Rose oversaw field operations for 4000+ subcontractors managing snow on 5000+ sites all over the United States. After a ten-year stint of self-employment as a scopist and proofreader for court stenographers, she joined John Allin Consulting, Inc., in 2017 as a paralegal. Ms. Rose recently became a full Associate reviewing slip-and-fall cases and developing reports, opinions and conclusions regarding same. Her career accomplishments make her uniquely qualified to opine and give testimony with issues regarding snow and ice management.
Mark Armstrong has 35+ years experience in the snow industry. Mark managed all snow operations for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY as an employee of the Lake Placid Olympic Organizing Committee.
He has extensive experience in operations management, fleet management and winter weather operations. He possesses a thorough understanding of snow removal operations at airports (both military and commercial), interstates, local roads and commercial sites. A snow and ice management expert witness in evaluation of incidents and accidents involving snow and/or ice on municipal roads, governmental sites and state roads.
Mark has a full comprehension of security issues, communications, accountability and safety of the motoring public. Recognized for success-driven attitude to resolve problems, improve efficiency, maintain safety and reduce risk liability. Mark is also a facilitator and instructor at Snowfighters Institute in Erie, PA.
Peggy Allin, CSP
Peggy Allin runs and oversees the ISO Gap Assessment Program for John Allin Consulting. She performs Gap Assessments and Internal Audits for those going through the initial and recertification process for the ISO SN-9001 Certification process.
Peggy Allin has 35 years’ experience in the snow and ice management industry. She has overseen Accounting, HR and Operations functions several large snow management companies. Recognized as an expert in Internal Operations, Peggy is a facilitator at Snowfighters Institute. She was the first woman to achieve the Certified Snow Professional (CSP) designation from the Snow & Ice Management Association, Inc. (SIMA).
Peggy is certified through the Accredited Snow Contractors Association. Having owned and operated several businesses over the past 15 years, her business acumen and experience makes her uniquely qualified to assist snow contractors who seek the ISO-SN9001 Certification. She also guides contractors in solidifying “process” within their companies to make the transition to the ISO certification easier and smoother
Gage has been in the graphic design world for about 5 years. He has created countless works of art as a freelancer for multiple companies across northwestern Pennsylvania. His talents extend into the creation of a charitable light show from his home called Rieger Christmas.
Vigilant and motivated, he assists various companies within the John Allin family by creating advertisements, overseeing several social media pages, as well as building and managing websites.
